Stairway

This project has not been completed, but due to lockdown, the work has taken on a greater affiliation to its function.

A stairway is a way to get between different levels by traveling up or down a flight of stairs. It has no function other than being a link between two or more spaces. Like sticky tape it connects what otherwise would be detached.
The husk at present is awaiting to be reassembled. When or if it is, it will never be able to function like the original stairway. Rather it will flop, bend and give way under pressure and be perceived as unfunctional, worthless and disposable. |
