VOID
2021 IN MEMORY
Invited by Jane Cordery to exhibit in the window of the Horsebridge Gallery, Whitstable September 2021 as a memorable to all those who passed away during 2020-21
The sellotape husks painted with plaster of paris stuck to the window but over the course of time and from the heat of the sun, the houses slowly slipped down the window before tumbling to the ground, where the plaster shattered and broke into dust. While the eternal sellotape collapsed inwards, exhaling the void. In contrast to the vibrant, blood pulsing community in Dylan Thomas' Under Milkwood. |
